The texture of leaves, the arrangement of petals, the lines or the structure of plant parts are always something absolutely fascinating for me. With the particularly intense light of the tropics or with the European counter or evening light, I try to capture new perspectives on these little wonders of nature with my camera.
“Water” was an ongoing theme for me for 25 years. As the water becomes glassy-transparent, it becomes precisely in this brief moment when the waves roll over. The many playing and reflected lights on the water of mountain streams. The emergence of new almost watercolor painted shapes in long exposures. Or the freezing of water drops in their playful cheerfulness.
After working with children for 30 years, it is always a privilege to photograph them with great skill, a child-friendly approach and a good sense of humor. The spontaneity in their actions and the innocence in their looks are a gift for every viewer.
